Rafting Requirements

The requirements for downhill rafting:

  • Be in good health and have consulted your medical practitioner for that assessment throughout the year;
  • Between the ages of 18 and 60;
  • Know how to swim well (know how to properly run the three swimming styles) and can go underwater without any problems;
  • Weighing less than 100 kg

The Management reserves the right to exclude from advanced sports activities those who do not demonstrate adequate psycho-physical and motor skills.

Activities are excluded to those who also have one of the following disorders

  • heart disease
  • hypertension
  • syncope or fainting
  • Deficiency of osteoarthritis, muscle-tendon and joint
  • Respiratory tract pathologies (asthma or emphysema)
  • Central or peripheral neurological pathologies (paralysis, paresis, epilepsy, etc.), major psychoses and neuroses
  • Pregnant
  • Eye disorders (severe myopia, retinal detachment, glaucoma etc)
  • Pathologies and auditory deficits
  • Be under the influence of medicines, drugs or alcohol

Hydrospeed Requirements

The requirements for downhill rafting:

  • Between the ages of 18 and 55;
  • Know how to swim well (know how to properly run the three swimming styles) and can go underwater without any problems;
  • Be trained

NB: These requirements are also required to participate in Nature & Sports 16-18 years old / adults and to participate in various courses (canoe kayak, rafting and hydrospeed, UISP instructor).

Rafting soft Requirements

To participate in soft rafting you don’t need to know how to swim but you still have to be in good health.
Children over the age of 4 are admitted only if accompanied by a parent.

Equipment

Here is what is required for each activities

Rafting & Rafting Soft

The Center offers neoprene wetsuits and shoes, approved waterproofing aid (“lifesaver”), helmet, paddle and waterproof jacket.

What to bring:

  • swimsuit
  • a t-shirt
  • shorts or tights
  • spare socks

The Center is equipped with 12 showers, hairdryers and safety lockers.

You have to bring:

  • a big towel or bathrobe
  • sandals and soap

In the winter, we recommend a thermal t-shirt and a thermal tights to wear under the mud.

Please note: The wetsuits and booties are washed after each use with a disinfectant solution in compliance with the regulations.

Canoa & Kayak

For those who do not already have equipment, the center provides:

  • kayak
  • splash guard
  • puddle
  • helmet
  • lifesaver
  • neoprene suit
  • water jacket
  • neoprene boots

Hydrospeed

For Hydrospeed we provide specific wetsuit.

In the winter, we recommend a thermal t-shirt and a thermal tights to wear under the mud.

Canyoning

Participants are divided into groups of 4-8 people, the Center provides the neoprene wetsuits, helmets, harnesses, ropes etc.
For the required clothing look at the “rafting” section. In addition, we require a pair of shoes with a non-slip sole to be used in water with neoprene boot (provided by the organization).

School Classes

Daily program: for the required clothing look at the “soft rafting” section.
We recommend an underwear change, bathrobe or towel, wool or fleece sweater, spare shoes, a small bottle and a cotton cap.

Two days`s program: for the required clothing look at the “soft rafting” section.
We recommend an underwear change, bathrobe or towel, wool or fleece sweater, spare shoes, a small bottle, a cotton cap and:

  • a small backpack
  • Clothes for two days (underwear, cotton socks, t-shirts and swimsuits)
  • Bathing equipment and sandals

Sport and Nature Holidays

Guests will stay in a farmhouse apart from the night they will sleep in the “Umbriano” ruins with a sleeping bag.

  • sleeping bag and mat;
  • 50-60 liters mountain backpack;
  • small backpack; flask.
  • waterproof jacket;
  • fleece or wool fabric;
  • underwear and cotton t-shirts (5)
  • cotton shorts (2), 1 long pants;
  • 2 swimwear, pool cap, goggles (optional);
  • cotton socks;
  • trekking boots, sneakers, sandals;
  • cotton hat, sunglasses, sunscreen;
  • flashlight and spare batteries, multipurpose knife, compass (optional);
  • a big towel or bathrobe, soap and bath equip;
  • Stationery: pens, pencils, rubber, wax colors, notebook, etc.
